Pipes available in the market are made up of various materials such as alloys and metals. ASTM B622 UNS N10276 is a nickel chromium molybdenum wrought alloy specification. This material is resistant to wet chloride gas, chlorine dioxide solutions and hypochlorite. Only a few alloys have these properties. The alloy is commonly known as the C276 and it is not affected by grain boundary precipitation. The material is also exceptionally resistant to oxidizing media, chlorides, acids and most reducing media.

Hastelloy X Pipe & Hastelloy X Tube exhibits good ductility after prolonged exposure at temperatures of 1200, 1400, 1600°F (650, 760 and 870°C) for 16,000 hours. Hastelloy X Seamless Pipe & Hastelloy X Seamless Tubing both are a versatile alloy with good resistance in a wide range of both oxidising and reducing acids even with chloride contamination. Also chlorine contaminated hydrocarbons.
